His history…

Wally Nason has been working in the world of music since high school where he began singing in choir and performing in musicals.  After high school he was offered a full-ride voice scholarship at the University of Arizona where he finished his undergraduate music degree and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting.  While at the U of A he performed in operas, directed choirs and worked as musical director for the Musical Theatre department.
He is a life-long Wildcat…Bear Down Arizona!!!

After college Wally worked as a public school music teacher and worship leader at Casas Adobes Baptist Church in Tucson.  He then went on to be a producer/director and VP of The Continentals/Jeremiah People – a world-wide music missions organization where he traveled all over the world directing traveling performing groups and training domestic and international leaders to do the same.   In 2003, Wally and Lori moved from Wally’s life-long home in the desert to Music City, USA.  He started a management/development company – Nason Music Group – where he worked as an artist manager in the country and Christian music industries.

In 2010, Wally’s work with Blue Gate Musicals began.  His first musical, Rock and the Redeemer,  played for two summers at the Blue Gate Theater in Shipshewana, IN.  Since then, he and his partners have written a dozen more full length, Broadway-Style musicals that are currently playing in FL, IN, OH, IL, KY and PA.  Over a million audience members have applauded his stories and songs from the live stage.

In 2022, Wally founded About The Town Productions – a non-profit 501C3 dedicated to producing original works.
