It’s been an eventful year in the Nason household. First off… Isla has an opinion!

She turned 1… understands English very well… and is very vocal about what she likes and doesn’t like.  An absolute joy to be with.  Wally watches her two days a week… and Lori works from home on Fridays to participate in the fun.  She loves music and our new dog, Haven.  Unfortunately, our sweet dog June left us earlier this year after a most wonderful life.  We miss her… the cat, Duma, really misses her.  June was old…and chill.  Haven is young… and not chill! Haven and Isla play and fight together just like two toddler siblings.  They are so fun to watch.

Quinli is killing it at the University of Louisville and we have learned that Louisville is a foodie paradise! So many great places.  She has great friends that we get to hang out with on occasion.  She is a marketing major and has landed full time work as the social media coordinator for two companies in Nashville and does that same work for her sorority. Q also drives for a family (Transporting their kids to after school events.)  We love cheering for the U of L…Go Cards!

Harper moved into a townhouse in Murfreesboro this fall and is in her second year of being a middle school Special Education Teacher… She has a real gift… and some really good stories.
She continues to lead a small group of girls at our church and is constantly earning frequent flyer miles… often… Colorado, Florida and NYC for starters.   And she is spending all the money she should be saving… to take care of her dad in his old age… on concert tickets!

Brock continues to be a middle school and high school choir teacher. And he is now on staff at our church overseeing the kid’s worship.  He still writes and plays out all over town doing writer’s nights and three hour sets entertaining tourists from all over the world.  Our church… Church of the City… released a song he sang and co-wrote… Always Faithful! By KidCity Worship. You can find it at all your favorite streaming services. He’s a great dad too… Isla adores him!

Ashley is a great mom. Isla is really into Lori and Wally (LoLo and Bud), unless Ash comes in the room…then she is all about her mom.  Ash teaches nursing at the Galen College of Nursing in Nashville and will begin her path to a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Academic Leadership in January.  So proud of her.  All of her family…parents, two brothers, their wives and 4 kids a piece all relocated to Music City in the last couple years… we’re glad to have the new friends!

Lori traveled to Utah again this year with her sister, Cathy, and her sister-in-law, Shannon to take part in the filming of Season 6 of The Chosen.  Season 6 focuses on the last day of Jesus’ life leading up to the crucifixion.  She can’t talk about what she saw filmed.  But her eyes can’t unsee what she saw that week.  Lori continues to host an online women’s bible study.  She is also planning a 2026 Mediterranean cruise with her good friend, Barb, who she met in China 20 years ago. Lori continues to work as a VP at a national healthcare company and truly believes there is no health without mental health.
